This one is also 48×30 inches. It was a demanding painting, but I think it went where I wanted it to go.
This painting is 48 inches tall by 30 inches wide. It is one of my more successful uses of transparent layers, texture and ambiguous shapes and composition. Like many of my paintings I may start out by responding to visual clues in my imagination. But once the “painting” begins the process is as abstract as the final image. Further explanation is found only in the observers eye.
This painting is 40×40 inches. The title is not very imaginative, but it fits. It is a “fiery” image expressing power. The “Wing” is above it all, but you can see exhaust and flames from its engine. But more important than all that is the feeling of something arriving from the future.
This is 48×30 inches. Many layers, some translucent. I posted it once before, but made changes and added a title.
